hey, maybe you are new here. maybe you’ve never been to the cotton bowl for txou wknd when they’ve blown us right out some 60+ pts. maybe you missed that texas tech game.
we do not boo our players and we do not boo them at home and we do not boo them ever regardless of the fking situation. you think you’re the only fking person invested in burnt orange on saturdays?! you think just because you are there watching live, in person, you have some fking right to boo one of our boys?! you don’t think he knows he threw two back to back interceptions? you don’t think he knows that we know?! WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU PPL?!
gfto of dkr if you can’t be a fking respectable longhorn! you ppl make me sick. do not think for a second any of you had anything to do with garrett being benched. there are so many decision makers on gameday and they are NOT YOU. they are on the sidelines and in the booths making the motherfucking calls, NOT YOU.
while you may have booed and felt like, oh, mack is finally listening to us on this garrett situation, but i assure you, coach mack fucking brown has his own concerns that do not take you, the fan, into consideration.
benching garrett was necessary and a long time coming perhaps. he’s just not who we need right now and he hasn’t “shown up” and with case and david being capable and talented alternatives in this new crazy offense we’re trying to run, poor garrett is just holding us back. EVERYONE WITH THEIR EYES ON TEXAS CAN SEE THIS.
there is no need to boo garrett. he makes bad decisions and needs to stare down a receiver before making the pitch and etc, etc, etc, but no matter how you feel about his quarterback prowess, he is a longhorn and DESERVES your motherfking respect. he is out there busting his ass and trying to perform well. it breaks my longhorn heart to have him leave the field to face booing fans. you should be fking ashamed of yourself and if i was at dkr this past saturday, you would’ve gotten an earfull from me and i srsly do not give a fuck. i will get thrown out of the stadium if need be.
and that is how i feel about ppl who call themselves fans and why i never refer to myself as a fan. i simply state that i love ut with all my heart and i fking mean it.
/first football related rant of the season
EDIT: additional commentary from a friend
yea i almost threw up when the crowed went after gilbert. i told the guy next to me to cool it.
yes, i agree we do not boo our own team, but that was not what made me sick to my stomach.
it was the fact that here is this kid trying, watching his football dreams go down the drain with every single bad play he makes. he could barely hear himself call the plays for that series because the booing was so loud.
all i could think about was that poor kid’s mom in the stadium.
that will mess you up.
in other news, ohmygoodgod that game.
and their images
Me: stop watching espn
do not watch that shit today
it will just piss you off
ESPN historically has hated on the University of Texas. Obviously, this is a tradition that has continued on to this year’s Nat’l Championship game. I can’t stand to watch ESPN during NC Week. In 2005 I nearly killed someone because I became so fed up with their shit talking. OH MY GOD. I can’t even think about it. Blargh. It’s okay, I’m ready for today to be a repeat of that glorious 2005 Vince Young game. OH MY GOD, FKING BRING IT ON ALREADY!
Happy National Championship Day and HOOK EM HORNS!
